Natural Recovery Support
Recovery is mostly sleep, food and time. Nothing in this category changes that, and anything sold as though it does is overselling. What these products can do is cover nutrient gaps that make recovery harder when they are missing.
What actually drives recovery
Sleep is first by a wide margin. Restricting healthy adults to five hours a night measurably reduces testosterone, impairs glucose handling and increases perceived effort in training. No supplement compensates for that.
Protein intake is second, at roughly 1.6g to 2.2g per kg of bodyweight daily, covered in full in the protein range. Third is simply doing less for a while. Deliberate deload weeks exist because the adaptation happens between sessions, not during them.
Where these products fit
The nutrients here carry authorised GB claims and they are honest ones. Magnesium contributes to normal muscle function, normal protein synthesis and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Zinc contributes to normal immune function. Vitamin D contributes to normal muscle function, and most people in Britain are short of it between October and March. The vitamins and minerals range covers the same ground in more detail.
Filling a real gap in any of those helps. Adding them on top of an already adequate intake does not, and we would rather say so.
What this is not
This is not post cycle therapy and it is not a substitute for medical care. If you are coming off anabolic steroids, that is a medical situation with a real recovery timeline, and our guide on coming off sets out what actually happens and what bloodwork is worth doing. No food supplement restarts suppressed hormone production.
Every product below prints its dose in full. The full shop lists everything we carry.
Signs you are under recovered
The useful markers are boring and reliable. Performance sliding across several sessions rather than one bad day. Resting heart rate drifting up. Sleep getting worse rather than better despite training hard. Persistent soreness, low mood, and losing the appetite to train at all. Any two of those running together for a fortnight is a deload signal rather than a supplement signal.
The response is to reduce volume for a week, sleep more, and eat enough. That fixes the great majority of cases, costs nothing, and is the part most people skip because it feels like going backwards.
