Question 1

Are these legal supplements UK regulated?

Accepted Answer

They are regulated as food rather than as medicines, which is a lower bar than a licensed drug and a real framework nonetheless. Composition, labelling and permitted claims are all governed, and the Food Standards Agency oversees the sector.

Question 2

Do you sell anabolic steroids or SARMs?

Accepted Answer

No, and we never will. Both sit outside what a food supplement retailer may lawfully sell in the UK. The guides covering them are information, not a catalogue.

Question 3

Why do some product pages talk the product down?

Accepted Answer

Because the evidence behind some categories is thin, and a page that hides that is selling you something you will not repurchase. We would rather lose one sale than lose the reader.

Question 4

What is the cheapest useful thing to buy?

Accepted Answer

Creatine monohydrate. Around twelve to twenty pounds for five hundred grams, which is roughly a hundred servings, from the single best evidenced product in sports nutrition.

Question 5

Do you ship outside the UK?

Accepted Answer

Orders are handled for delivery within the United Kingdom. Everything on the shipping page applies to UK addresses.

Question 6

How do I know the dose is really what the page says?

Accepted Answer

You do not, from a page alone, and that is true of every supplement retailer. What we control is that the figure printed is the figure the manufacturer declares, and that where we cannot verify a number we say so rather than repeating it.

Question 7

How should I store what I buy?

Accepted Answer

Dry and sealed covers almost all of it. Creatine is stable as a powder and degrades once mixed, so make each serving fresh. Omega 3 oxidises with heat and light, which is why a fish oil that tastes strongly of fish has usually gone off. Electrolyte powders pull moisture out of humid air and clump, which is a storage symptom rather than a fault. Capsules belong in a cupboard rather than on a windowsill.

Question 8

Do any of these legal supplements interact with medication?

Accepted Answer

Some can, and a product page is not the place to settle that. Anything you take alongside a prescription is a question for the prescriber or a pharmacist, who can see the whole list rather than one item from it. That applies as much to a multivitamin as to a botanical extract, and it is the single most common reason to ask before buying rather than after.
